“LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT” is my second bicycle painting I completed. I was in Georgetown Texas walking in the town square. There is a boutique there called Pink Poppy. They had a purple bicycle out front and I snapped a photo. Just said paint me. This is my interpretation of what I saw there.
My home in Alaska was right at the edge of Fredrick’s Sound. My dad had built a bulk head of logs to keep the winter high tides out of the yard. For years clam shells, crab shells, etc. have been dumped over the logs, onto the beach. The eagles, ravens and crows keep a close eye on their midden.
